Local speakers sharing local and global ideas for tomorrow. Three talks: Hallam Duckworth on "The Dairyy at Honeydale" — his journey into farming and starting up a luxury farmhouse ice cream business; Siobhann Mansel-Pleydell on "Future Streets Oxfordshire" — findings from a countywide envisioning project for thriving streets and neighbourhoods; and Jason Chipchase, owner and CEO of Chadlington Brewery Ltd, on "Brewing Beer". Tea and cake from 6.15pm; pay-bar 8.30–9.30pm by Chadlington Brewery. Tickets £10 (Students £5) from Café de la Post (01608 676461) from 1st September. All funds go to the Chadlington Memorial Hall.

Three talks: Philip Sharman on "A Year of Chadlington Butterflies" — highlights of which species might be seen month by month around the village and their habitats; Kate Henderson (Agricultural Lead at FarmED) on "100 Years of Farming in the Cotswolds — what we can learn from our predecessors"; and Stephen Warren, Professor of Astrophysics at Imperial College London, on "The Local Universe". Chadlington CC & BioD — Third Tite Event
Two keynote speakers on Chadlington's biodiversity interests, plus updates on the Big Butterfly Count and Parish Land App. We also announced the Householder Energy Event for April 2025. As usual we were in the 'tent' outside — attendees were advised to bring a coat!
